I love my new Lunchbox Bento Trio! I love the compact sleek design, yet fits a lot of food. I like that the lid is not attached because it requires less table space (think school lunch tables) and it also allows me to eat in my car if need to. The plastic "dots" removable cover is a great feature as we can change it up if wanting to. The only downside is that it is only for dry food. So if you have any juicy fruits, the juice will go into all the other compartments from underneath. I'm not an engineer so I don't quite understand the need to have gaps in the dividers, but if it's not necessary then I don't see why not design it so that liquids don't transfer to all the compartments. I can live with it, I put silicone liners when needed, and I only carry it flat in my double decker lunch bag. But that is something to consider.

Although I knew the box was not waterproof, I was surprised to find that food with oil based dressings (in this case for a tabouli salad) will ooze out of the cover. Fine for "dry" ingredients and have no complaints as to construction, but be aware that it is not really designed to work with any "dressed" foods. I would otherwise give it a higher rating, but for my purposes, really does not work.

My son brings his own lunch to school, so this gets used a lot! I love that we can just toss it in the dishwasher and that it's made of stainless steel (and not plastic)! It's a bit pricey but they do last! Would highly recommend this product!

So nice that I bought two of them. They work very well and cleanup nicely in the dishwasher. The lid stays on with friction. The compartments are a good size for a sandwich on big bread, chips, and fruit (or a cookie).

Purchased for my son who has celiac disease. I love the fact that it's stainless stee! Also love that he can just flip the lid off and his lunch is contained and safe from cross-contamination of a school lunchroom table. We've used this product for the last two months of school last year, I recently dug it out to wash it for the new school year and noticed the green cover is cracked and won't stay snapped on the silver lid. Not a huge deal but I am bummed. We spend a large amount of money on his school lunch system because he's worried about cross-contamination at school. (We also purchased the smaller sized duo lunchbots container, Lunchbots rounds, the Lunchbots lunch bag and a Klean Kanteen Reflect Stainless Steel 27 Ounce Water Bottle with Bamboo Cap.) Our smaller container has not cracked and has held up really well! We also purchased some silicone muffin cups to contain juice from strawberries or other fruit as the sections of this container are not totally sealed.
