I should have read the reviews, and I hope you will too. DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY. This is a pointless loud, useless piece of junk and I made the mistake of buying two! Just don't do it to yourself. If I could give zero stars, I actually would.
Okay,needs tweaking. Ash builds up in battery area.Batteries easily dislodged.Clean after each use.

I do not use as ashtray as build up of ashes hinder battery operation. I set cigarette directly at large openings to suck up that nasty scent and air fairly clear. Keep it clean with each use by continual dumping. Batteries come loose too easily. So keep your ashtray handy.Nearly useless, but smoke does enter if you keep your cigarette directly in front of larger opening. Helps to keep second hand smoke from pets, hummingbirds...But was a good price.
