Bless this set. Feels good, looks good, but I needed some with a bit of gold somewhere but not distracting. I have other serving pieces that have a bit of gold too -- as does my former silverware. Hard to find this combo and if you do, it will no doubt be very expensive. I've been looking for 2 years as my forks kept disappearing. We love this silverware! It is large, heavy weight, and beautiful with the touch of gold edging. We use it for every day, but it is pretty enough and heavy enough for a more formal table setting. It has a high mirror finish, and occasionally we do get slight water spotting in the dishwasher even though we have very soft water. The spots polish off, but people with hard water might have more of a problem - but no more than with any other silverware or glassware.

This flatware is beautiful and elegant. The pictures on Amazon don't do it justice. The pieces are sturdy and well balanced. They are a little larger than what you would typically get from other brands like Oneida, but this was exactly what I was looking for.

This set is very nice. They look elegant and strong. I think its good for the price (since the quality seems good). The five piece hostess set consists of 3 large pieces (cold meat fork, pierced spoon and serving spoon) and 2 small ones (butter knife, and small sugar spoon).You will need to purchase the other serving pieces separately in case you want them. I had to order the knife, pie server, lasagna server, soup ladle and salad fork separately, which increased the price of the purchase.
