Did not buy at Amazon but wanted to post for others considering this unit. 18 months from new (12 month warranty of course) the fins are frozen solid in a block of ice. They are kept clean, filter is clean, fan is working, temp in basement is 68*.
Buy the $300 throwaway pieces of junk, not this $1200 piece of junk!

Great unit, but a little loud
Ocraboat•August 15, 2015
Working great so far after 4 months. It replaced a different Drieaz model that only lasted 2-1/2 years (that one had the computer board die under warranty, then the entire unit died after the warranty ended). So, I'm a little concerned about how long it will last especially since these are not cheap. Also, it is louder than the model it replaced and can be heard easily inside the house (similar to an older refrigerator). That said, it is a compact unit with a nice cabinet. Seems great if you needed to move it between job sites. The controls are easy to use and easy to read in a dark crawlspace. I used the Drieaz F526 joist strap hangers, which worked great for quickly mounting this off the ground and leveling it and helped the overall review rating.

We have given this product two chances. The first arrived DOA. The second lasted a week before it started leaking. How the hell it would survive in a commercial environment I have no idea.
