Useful for rigging sailing ship models

I bought this as a modeling tool, to hold thin twine used to rig sailing ship models. The spring is strong enough to hold the thread and it is heavy enough to keep it taut while I work on the other end.

Just what my gyne ordered :) I got this actually for my gyne to use on me since a reg speculum cant be used without alot of pain ( too much scar tissue and atrophy). I sent him a pic of THIS before I bought it and he said it was perfect. The narrow blades will make exams alot LESS painful for me.
