I had high hopes for this scoop based on the information and reviews. I need to make 600 scones for a holiday tea at church. I was hoping that this would be my answer, but sadly, when testing it out it only scooped the first couple of scones and then, because it's a sticky dough, wouldn't scoop anymore. My colleague has an old scoop from Maid of Scandinavia that works like a charm and I was hoping to find something similar. Sadly, this is not my answer so I will keep searching. I would give this more stars if I could. I have wasted so much money on other scoops that went into the garbage after first try. Either they didn't spring back or they were too hard to squeeze. I have arthritis in my hands and have been on the lookout for a high end scoop for some time. I just made 60 cookies yesterday and it worked so smoothly and washed out easily afterwards. This is the best cookie scoop ever! This is the second one I bought - the largest one. I already have the medium sized scoop. I bought another because the first one was so easy to use, no stress on my hand. I can operate it with ease and now it's a pleasure to scoop cookies. Before I got the two Jenaluca scoops, I just dropped cookie dough from a spoon, which can be a bit messy and very time consuming.
