A solid piece of equipment that does its job - fast. The most efficient tool I've ever bought. Don't expect to use it eight hours a day, unless you are a bodybuilder, it is heavy and powerful - but that's the reasons why it works so well. It has a good height and weight-distribution (I am 5'7'') and is easy to control. Without the reviews, I wouldn't have bought the spade - but I am happy that I did. It's actually the part that makes the work with the jack hammer so efficient; it works for digging holes in rock-solid clay as well as for loosening boulders (around 150lbs) by vibrating. As others wrote in their reviews: the jack hammer loses a lot of oil and needs frequent checks/refills - but nothing is perfect. I recommend this jack hammer for everyone who has a 'challenging' property or DIY construction projects.

I am a female do-it-your-selfer, never even touched a jackhammer before, so no comparison. It arrived today, I spent hours (by myself) breaking up an old sidewalk and concrete slab. Then I transplanted several plants with ease! (shovel attachment-best thing ever).
All I had to do was balance it, (easy, not too heavy) pull the trigger and go.
It does leak oil, I think it's meant to reduce friction during use? It arrived with oil all over in the case, which I expected after reading other reviews.

This item is NOT EXACT as item pictured, but it's the same as all the other cheaper jack hammer. I thought I was getting a different version, hence, the higher price but it's not. I Could have bought the cheapest one at $124 if I had known they are the same exact item. I over paid $11+ which I could have spend in the 2-3 years protection coverage.

I have used this multiple times. Item was well secured in the packing box, no cracks or breaks in the case. Was able to punch through basement concrete in no time. As other reviewers have mentioned, make sure you put oil in before using as it only comes with a small amount.
