Meh. It works to keep a child from just being able to shut off the light if reaching straight on from the front....but the top and bottom is open and not very deep so it took about 2 seconds for daughter to figure out how to get around that. Doesn't stop her at all now.

Easy to install. This was purchased so that Realtors would not accidentally turn off the garage door opener in my house that is up for sale. For some reason, the prior owner had the garage door opener wired to a decora rocker switch. This does the trick. I can also turn it off if I am home alone.

Th child I wanted to stop flicking the light switch can reach it easily with the latch installed so that didn't help. He's 3, and kids much younger can't reach the switch anyway.

These things are a life saver. My kids share a room and this keeps my toddler from turning the light on and washing up the baby. It would get 5 stars but he can turn the light off, not a huge deal but worth noting. I also have used this same product for regular switches and it worked perfectly.

This was so easy to install and works great! It took me a minute to install. My toddler can no longer flick the switch on and off. A simple, effective product to keep a child from playing with switches.
