Drills In Like A Dream

This is a REAL mailbox flag. Heavy duty steel and you can feel it. I got this because in my subdivision there are these wooden cages built around plastic mailboxes - it's supposed to be a decorative feature of the neighborhood and admittedly, I like it. But that then means that for your replacement flag you have to have something with some beef to it that you can drill directly into that wood - and that's what I was able to do with this puppy. Highly recommend - I'm so stoked I put it on instagram. no kidding.

Superior to anything you will EVER find in a big box store. This thing is built seriously strong. It's almost industrial strength; the metal is thick gauge. We used this to screw into our brick mailbox and it looks and works better than anything I've seen or used. I'd give this product 10 stars. This is what a "Made in the USA" product is all about. Nothing like this could possibly come from China.

This mailbox flag is excellent quality, very much superior to the plastic ones. It is very sturdy and well designed. That along with the fact it is made in U.S.A. make it an excellent choice. Why not 5 stars? My mailbox is one of those with a large 3/4" diameter hole and a small perfectly sized hole beneath it. We had to find a large washer with a small hole or a solid piece and drill the small diameter hole into it to block up the large hole in the mailbox and permit the screw and washer to grip in the top mailbox hole. We were successful, and the flag is wonderful. It would be a great idea for the manufacturer to include a large washer with the proper size hole in it for this type of mailbox. This would give it the 5 stars! The mailbox came from Lowe's so it isn't an unusual model.
Well made but has to drill one hole.

It is very heavy duty. One hole fit our mailbox configuration but had to drill the other one. Like the quality and after researching, there were no others that compared to this one. Would buy again but I think this will last a very long time.

Put this up today. I did not use the crappy screws that came with them.. Tiny and useless. I used steel epoxy as recommended by another person on here that purchased. While I gave it a 5 I wish I could have made it a 4 1/2 for the crappy screws. The overall flag is steel and wicked sturdy. I used a steel epoxy that set up in 5 minutes.
