Not good on steps

I liked the weight of the broom and the handle that was easy to hold in smaller hands but I tried to use it on steps and by walls and could not get the dirt out of the corners. Disappointed. Maybe I should have bought a different kind of broom. I bought it to sweep the front entrance of my home.
