Mounted two of these to a backup camera so I could move the camera from the truck to the back of the enclosed trailer. Used a drill bit for ceramic tile to counter sink the screws into the ferrite and a regular drill bit for the metal casing. Creates a bit of magnetic dust. Then ran some #6 screws with locknuts and washers. Two magnets were used and they hold real nice and I can put the camera anywhere.
