This company stands behind their product! It works great too!
Andrew JacksonNovember 27, 2017
The product worked perfectly. I did not want the trouble of hooking my water hose up to something to dry and suck the leaves off the bottom. So, this was a perfect solution. The first one that I had leaked water into the battery compartment. It completely ruined the batteries as well as the compartment. But, the company immediately sent me a new one along with a shipping label to return the defective one. Very nice to have that type of customer service. My recommendation (I haven't tried this yet) would be to assume that water will get into the battery compartment. After each use, simply take the batteries and the compartment out and dry them immediately. Not sure if that will completely solve the problem, but I'm willing to try since the company was so responsive. I really want it to work! Thanks again!
Time and Effort Saver

This is working almost exactly as I hoped. The process of removing autumn leaves from the bottom of the pool has been much easier this year. Previously had to use the manual method which is more effort and less efficient. If I slowly roll the vacuum along the bottom of the pool and the stairs it gets everything within the circumference of the vacuum head. Works wells for leaves floating on top of the water as well. Only suggestion is to make the motor more powerful on future models so the process would be faster. Bought the gel as well and has proved to keep the battery compartment water tight. Good value for the money versus other vacuums.
So far, so good...

I've been using the Lead Vacuum every other day for the past few weeks now without any problems. I bought it to clean our pool after hurricane Irma took out our pool enclosure. We had tons of leaves that collected at the bottom of the pool. The Leaf Vacuum makes leaves removal a breeze. We actually decided to forgo a new enclosure in favor of a fence. The vacuum has been holding up pretty well. The batteries are also holding up and I been using the vacuum a lot since the hurricane. If it dies, I hope Assurion will step up and cover it for up to four years.
A quick run with this before guests and your good to go

This is in my opinion a must own if you have an in ground pool. It eliminates the need to put the powered pool cleaner in, in half. A quick run with this before guests and your good to go. I cut a small piece of pool noodle and place it in the bag before attaching it to the vac. This keeps the bag floating above the vac and makes it easier to move around without wrapping the bag around the pole. We also made our own bags out of a finer material so more of the fine dirt will get caught in the bag. I do think they could improve just one thing and that would be to put a little more power into the motor. I think if the fan spun just a bit faster it would increase the speed of cleaning and pull the finer stuff in even more. I bought a spare and stored it just to have a back up, because this was not in stock at a lot of places when I was shopping for it.
Great idea but..... BUT design allows water to get to batteries and corrode them killing this product - twice.

Great idea but.... First one I bought leaked water in and corroded the batteries. When the replacement arrived, I added a silicone sealant to the cover thinking that it would definitely help. When it worked, it worked great, really great, but then it died and I wondered if it needed new batteries. I had to pry the cover open and my sealant was still in place but water had still found its way to the batteries and corroded them again. This time the return window had passed so I was left with a piece of trash.
