Very handy! I recently bought a used Keurig & obviously don't know much about them. I discovered that the Vue model is phasing out. Came across this lil gizmo & figured what the heck - it's worth $16 to see if I wasted my money on the used Keurig. But it saved the day! Works great!

I first bought one of these in a store and was thrilled. So when I saw that Amazon was selling this vue-to-kcup adapter, I decided to pick up a spare.

First, I love my machine. I bought it because I saw the advantages of this machine over the standard k-cup machine. Keurig really dropped the ball when they didn't develop this with the same gusto as the k-cup machine. I felt like I wasted my money on an orphan machine that would never have more than 20 different pods available. Meanwhile, there were countless k-cups available at half the price of a vue cup pack. The waiting paid off. This adapter flawlessly allows me to stick k-cups into my vue machine. I haven't had any failures even though I heard that the sharp puncturing device in the bottom of the adapter cup can get clogged. I give it a quick rinse every now and then. Works great. Plus, if you have your own coffee that you want to use, the filter cup that fits inside the adapter can allow you to use your own coffee. Just don't overfill with ground coffee. The best part is that it's priced very reasonably. I now have 2 of these, and I don't think they will break or wear out before the machine does.

In looking at a few of these K2V converters on Amazon, I figured they were all the same. I was wrong. I had this K2V for two years and never had a problem. When my son lost it I ordered the "upgraded" K2V: UPGRADED #QK002 KZ-Cup/K2V-Cup For Keurig VUE Brewers by Zaker converter. That new one was a piece of junk - it was virtually impossible to get the cup out when done and the upgraded K2V would not keep its shape. I re-ordered this Perfect Pod model and making coffee is a delight once again! If you have a Vue system and want to use the great variety of (cheaper) K-cups, you have to get this little gem!

I'm very glad that these cups exist because I wouldn't be able to enjoy my Vue without them, but they're not perfect by any means.

The first time we tried a regular K-cup with this it leaked grounds into my coffee maker. Happened again the next time we tried it, so that was the end of trying that! We have been using the inner basket and our own ground coffee ever since and haven't had ANY problems at all with that, so that's the way these work the best in my experience.

Using our own ground coffee is preferably for me anyway since it allows us to control the type of coffee and it's so much more economical than buying individually packed Vue cups or K-cups anyway. Just be careful if you try to use a K-cup in this K2V-Cup. If it leaks when you try it it isn't you, it's the cup!

UPDATE 11/27/2015: The lids of both of these we own have now snapped off, but we are still able to use them by simply placing them back on the top and pressing down lightly. Just wanted to mention that in case yours break so you know you might still be able to use them as well.

This thing is awesome in my Vue! One thing I've discovered is that you need to run an empty 4oz cycle immediately after making your coffee so that if there are any grinds in the needle they get flushed out. The one time that I didn't do this the needle got clogged and I had to spend about 15 minutes taking it apart to clean the needle. Love being able to use regular K-Cups though so it's worth the risk and so far when I've done the immediate flush after I haven't had a single problem.
