Ron Ward•August 4, 2017
replaced my older model after 12 years as it rusted out. I was hoping to see some improvement in the coatings where rust was most prevalent but no go. I hope to get at least 12 years from this model as well
great compost bin. i am very happy with it.

got this for my mom. put it together while having a pleasant conversation with her.
assembly was medium but i wasn't in any hurry and had a nice talk.
bottom line : i have one very happy mom and a sturdy looking/feeling compost bin.

Very easy to rotate barrel and we'll see what kind of compost we get.
Great buy for a first time composter!!

I was a first time composter when I ordered this unit.
It was easy to put together with two people but wouldn't have been possible to do alone.
It came with great directions for composting and soon we were off on our first batch. I was delighted how easy everything was. Even when my ratios were off a bit, I still got great results.
Turning the composter is very easy and has never caused me great effort, even in winter when everything seems frozen. I am 5'9 and weigh 130.
While I've never got composted anything in the span of two weeks, I have done a batch over a Pennsylvania winter with great success.
I actually purchased a companion bin for compost that finishes before I can use it. I highly recommend doing so!
I've had this for almost a year now. So far it has been quite durable and managed everything I've thrown into it with ease.
The money I've saved this year on purchasing bagged commercial compost material alone basically has paid for the composter.
It also made me realize that the stuff I throw away, I've paid for so I might as well get every bit of use out of it possible.
For the fastest composting, try to give it a nice sunny location.
