I needed/wanted an inexpensive 4/4 violin case that works with a Yamaha YEV 104 electric violin. This case fits that bill. But it is not fancy, good quality but certainly not heirloom quality. It has no bells and whistles to speak of, but again, works for my intended purpose. To do over, probably would buy a nicer fiberglass case, more fitting for the sleek YEV 104.

It's a nice looking case and offers protection for the violin, however, we've only had this for a couple months and the stitching is coming apart and the cord/edging that wraps around the case is starting to fall off. It's not due to heavy use because our daughter only has strings class twice a week. Going to check into getting a replacement because we may have gotten a defective case. Will follow-up if it works out.
Follow-Up: Seller saw my review and the offered a replacement case at no charge. It came yesterday and is in use today for strings class. We'll see if this case is put together better but seller was attentive and easy to work with to resolve the issue. I gave them an extra star because of this. Hopefully the case will hold together.

This full size case is nice, if your violin fits, is really nice"¦
My old 1964 violin from Mexico unfortunately didn't fit"¦ so I returned it, but I can't say anything bad about it except perhaps that the wine color does not look as good as in the pics"¦ I knew it would be tight"¦ but it was just not big enough on the internal dimensions.
I guess modern violins are slightly smaller, too bad, I did like this case.
