on/off switch is hard to use and I agree about the guide bar slipping. Really a design error and they should replace this. I have an old inexpensive saw and that guide bar never slipped like this one does. Water tray not removable so very hard to clean the water well. Works well other then design flaws.

I lost faith in my tile guy so I went the DIY route. This is a great compact portable tool for the money. After shopping around for a saw I decided to go with a well known brand and wasn't disappointed with this product from Skilsaw. The plastic guard over the blade is good as it prevents water from going everywhere, so you can use the use it right where you are working. If you are carefull you can cut tiles up to 20" x 20" on the diagonal by starting the cut freehand and feeding the tile into the blade slowly. It has plenty of power to cut thick ceramic and porcelain tiles.

Nice tile saw. Water splashing is not a problem. As others have said, the adjustable fence does not hold its place too well, but I used a clamp to get it to hold tight. I cut 18x18 inch porcelain tiles with this saw with no issues.

It's a decent little saw and good for small projects. I was cutting 18" limestone with it and it proved to be a bit challenging. One issue is that there is no way to stabilize the cut so it often results in chipped ends at the end of the cut.

Did not work for me. I had large tiles to cut and even making custom cuts in small ones was difficult. Just buy a cheap harbor freight full tile saw. Not much more after all the discounts, bought the five year warranty and so far has done the job.
