I don't understand the super short battery life on this thing. I've got an edge 500 that can go weeks without a charge. I get nervous around the 16th hole with this guy and stop using a lot of the features. Sort of a pitty because although basic, the functionality is great. Aside from the battery life "” not to mention how long it takes to charge! "” I really like it.

Doesnt help my swing but its simple, it works....and is very nice to have when you are three fairways over and no distance markers visable. Good deal.

Bought this a couple weeks ago. I've been wearing it to work with dress clothes because it's slick just as a watch. Works great when I go from work to the course. Refurbished is the way to go, saves you a lot of money and I couldn't tell a difference between new/refurb. Only thing that i had trouble with is that the language was set in Swedish and I read it. Simple factory reset lookup on Garmin's website and I was set in about 5 min.
