I loved this bread. When I made it I had a huge bag of finely shredded cheese so I doubled the cup called for on the package. I tried a heal piece while it was still warm: fantastic! The Hatch chiles were distributed throughout and the tender bread was very cheesy. It didn't rise as high as I would have liked, but then I did use extra cheese. That night, I fixed grilled cheese sandwiches using this bread, no butter needed: wonderful. The next morning, eggs and toasted Green Chile Cheddar bread: delicious. Now I'm hooked and Amazon is out! If you can find it, try it. I've refrigerated the rest to make toasted hors d'oeuvres later this week.
