I love it! The color is really turquoise and looks so good on me (size 10; 5'9). The material is very soft and the dress has nice embroidery around the neck and arms openings but for some reason only front of the dress has the embroidery.

Edit 11/23/2015. I put it in the cold water to set the color as one of the reviewer suggested and gently stirred this dress in it. Well, the water became bluish. I took the dress out, DIDN'T wring and just hanged it on the hanger. Next morning the beautiful turquoise color disappeared and I ended up with pale blue almost white dress and darker blue streaks on it :( This is a huge disappointment because I was planning to take it to the Mexico and now it is useless...

Stopping back by this review, I decided to give it five stars, because I have now had a chance to wear it several times... I've put it up for next year as it is a summer weight item... It says to hand wash, but if you wash it on delicate cold cycle and can be prompt with the removal, as I was... shake it out and hang to dry... Looks wonderful! Great for travel... I used it while back in warm midwest as a bit of dress up with a brown chemise and brown tights. Worked and looked great! So I've now updated this review and now give it a five star. It's lovely, hangs well and is a great cover up over those comfortable tight stretch cotton pants that people speak poorly of, but love to wear. I paired mine with brown pants and chemise. Nice for trip out around. Recommend.

Mine is blue. The embroidery was awful and began to unravel almost immediately. I was able to pull one loose thread and the entire thing embroidered object came undone. It was like they didn't use a bobbin thread. Would have liked it better with no embroidery than such poorly done embroidery. This was the case with all of the Sakkas dresses that I bought that had embroidery (4 total). In addition, on this dress, the fabric edges were not finished properly and on one of the side seams the fabric frayed and the seam pulled apart though not the stitching of the seam (ironic since so much of the embroidery did). Since I like the fabric and style, I will repair the seam and finish the edges of the fabric properly.

This is a feminine, flowing, lightweight dress that is perfect for summer. It's 100% cotton, made in India. I have lots of clothing made in that country and love the look and quality. I ordered the mint which is beautiful, but a darker mint color than the photo. Some may call it a greenish turquoise. I do have some other mint clothes, which are lighter than this. It's still a very nice color. I'm a size 16, 43" bust and it fits well. There is plenty of room in it. Larger women could wear it, but not sure up to what size.
I just steamed it easily with a clothing steamer, as I do all my clothes. I haven't washed it yet. Since it's delicate, I would recommend putting it in a net/mesh zippered laundry bag, washing it in cold water on gentle cycle and hanging it dry. That's what I will do. It is somewhat sheer and should be worn with a slip, at least on the bottom half. I'm wearing mine now with cotton/polyester pettipants (a shorts style 1/2 slip) available here on Amazon.
It's a great summer dress at a reasonable price.

Note about pettipants: I went to my orders for the pettipants, which were mostly from 2011. Many of the ones that I ordered were made by Illusion and sold by Under Moments. Unfortunately, they only have small and medium of the cotton/polyester right now. There are some made by Cotton Half Slips which are similar and available in some larger sizes. I love them because they prevent discomfort and chaffing around the thighs. I use mine under fuller styles of skirts and dresses quite often.

I sincerely LOVE this garment since it can work as a dress; nightgown; or a slip. What I sincerely dread is seeing it disintegrate as others have mentioned in their write ups. I would have one of EVERY COLOR if I could afford it and their durability were not in question... Will have to wait and see. Fabric is nice and light, comfy and gentle.... Fabric is fragile and seams are ineffective. Already raveling and I washed by hand. Will definitely look twice before I buy this brand again.
