An excellent, flexible Thunderbolt cable

I previously ordered a Buffalo Mini-station bus-powered 500GB Thunderbolt/USB3.0 portable drive (now available in higher capacities). The included Thunderbolt cable was very short and thick. I had a concern that a longer Thunderbolt cable might cause a problem. I am happy to report that this cable works very well. The extra length allows me to more conveniently set the drive near my MacBook Pro. To my surprise, the drive now seems to run cooler than it did with the included, stiffer cable. This is one super thin cable. I'm sure it works ok but for a $36 cable this thing is pretty not-pro. Thunderbolt is one giant rip off and I'm sure these companies selling Thunderbolt accessories are getting gouged by Apple for royalties. So I don't blame the cable maker, I blame Apple.

Can't speak to durability as my oldest cable is some 2 months old. However, the cables are perfect, and I love the fact that they are colored so I can 'code' which one is for my car, and which for the house. :)
