I have bought 2 other sets of clippers and they both broke with hardly any use. I have an 85 lb lab that hates his feet messed with, so it was a real struggle. I practically had to sit on him to clip his nails. The other 2 pair were not sharp and did not cut well and didn't last. So it was hard on me as well as the dog. I ordered this pair and what a difference! They are the best! Easy to use, sharp, and work better than I ever expected. Especially for the price. It makes it so much easier to clip his nails now.

I purchased this exact nail clipper when I first adopted my dog 2 years ago. I still have it today and I recently repurchased this nail clipper because I thought I lost my old pair. This nail clipper is very reliable, easy to use, and fits well in my hands. It is very well-made and definitely a reliable and long-lasting nail clipper. It is very sharp and I have no problems cutting my dog's nails with it. Beware of the other nail clippers on amazon (not from Epica) that have fake reviews. I mistakenly purchased on that looked like this, but a different brand, and the quality was very poor.

I'm a novice to this sort of thing. My lab is very large (83 pounds) and very old, and I was worried about hurting him. So far, he doesn't mind it in the least and his super long nails are much more manageable now. The blade is super sharp and doesn't take super power to go through his nails, so it doesn't cause any concern on his part. Even my other lab, who is way more hyper and sensitive, doesn't seem bothered when I clip her nails. So I would recommend! Good price, too.

I always use caution and trim small portions at a time. These do a great job and do not crush the nail. If your dogs nails are very thick and you've neglected them, make sure to take a very small slivers off each nail. That goes for any clippers. If you do not try to be over zealous with these, they do a fantastic job.

When looking to purchase my Dog Missy's nail clippers, I scrolled through the Amazon Product Lists and saw a lot of very nice tools. I didn't know which to pick. Never cut her nails before. I prayed real quick and decided to go with the Epica Best Professional Pet Nail Clipper Large, since she is a 48 pounder. I didn't want to invest a bundle, since this was my first venture in Nail Trimming. I am so thankful that I was led to choose the Epica. It is a wonderful device. The price was so reasonable and the quality once I received it is so good, that I am thrilled to have purchased it and have used it a couple times. It has a guard on it so you don't over cut, and her nails were really long and so once the first try was so successful, in a couple days I clipped again and the nail is the perfect cut. Thank you again, and again the price was so reasonable. I've since read up on clippers and the key to successful clipping is the Stainless Steel sharpness. So at whatever point in the future I feel the clipper dulls at all, I can reorder and get another due to the price being so affordable.
