I love the vented lid and measurement marking inside the pot, but after a couple of uses, it developed a warp in the middle which keeps it from sitting flad on the stove (I have a glass top stove) It wobbles while heating up and "dances" while cooking. I guess it functions as a cooking pot, but this is kind of annoying, especially since I paid 32. dollars for this small pot, expecting Calphalon quality.

I bought this pot because I needed more than just 2 saucepans, and because it would match my current 10pc calphalon classic set. But unfortunately this is a very cheap version of it. My original set was bought from Macy's and was made in Toledo, OH, where they're suppose to be made. But this pot I bought from Amazon was made in China and was made of significantly less quality. First off, the lip of the lid came out of the package bent and it was so thin and cheap that I was able to bend most of it back. Then I noticed that the lip of the pan was extremely sharp, unlike my original set. Also, when I compared the weight to my other saucepans the one from amazon was significantly lighter, which translates to me that it's cheaply made and of lesser quality. After noticing all these issues I didn't bother to use it and just returned it. I guess I'll have to pay more to get a legit match. This pan reminds me of the fake Chanel and Coach bags, they look real from a far but once you get up close and inspect, they're clearly the knock off version. All in all, if you're looking for real deal Calphalon this isn't it, you'll have to shop at a department store or bed bath and beyond if you want the higher and intended quality.

The weight of the pan and the see-through lid with steam/pour vents are really great. The only thing that I don't care for is how easily the interior of the pan scratches. I shouldn't have to be limited to using wooden spoons on a stainless pan and I've never had issues with other stainless pans from other manufacturers, so it was surprising how easily this pan marked up. Same issue on the exterior of the pan as well.

It cooks great, but I'm more than a little worried about how long it's really going to last if it scratches and marks so easily.

Love it! Heats up quick and the lid is awesome. I tested it with a Cuisinart pot (same size) with boiling water, I was just curious. Results : this pot boiled faster. It surprised me. Another upside is that it has molded pour spouts on both sides. Happy with my purchase. It works for me and it looks nice. Oh, the lid has built in strainer. Awesome pot for me.

Bought it for my son while in Hawaii, it did arrive in time, however, was disappointed since the lid was bent and did not close well, also the stainless steel seemed lighter than the ones I have at home. Will not buy this item again.
