I ordered this for my HTC Vive base station.
Pros
- The clip is wide and strong for clipping on thicker mounting points and seems to be stable once locked into position.
Cons
- The rubber tip ends are not secured to the clips. Every time I unclip it to move it or adjust it, they fall off. A bit of hot glue might solve this problem, but this shouldn't be an issue out of the box.
- The swivel ball is difficult to lock down once it's mounted; I've had to repeatedly take it down, then lock it with the tightening bolt and remount it until I got it right.
- The angle on the swivel ball is somewhat limited; I had to get creative to point the mount in the direction I needed.

Gets the job done for very light cameras. Clamp isn't super strong so adjusting the ball joint with the tiny thumb screw always moves the clamp out of position making tiny adjustments very difficult and time consuming.
Excellent tool for action cameras!

I had many problems placing my Gear 360 in outdoors; either the Tripod could stand perfect or the area demanded for a high set up.
1- The ball head has a really smooth movement so its easy to put your camera on almost a perfect horizontal point of view.
2- The sprint is really strong. Even though i've been using it for a week, i don't see it getting loose or loosening strength any time soon.
3- the clip has two rubber covers on the clamps that protects any delicate surface you place the clip.
This clip along with a tripod and maybe a helmet mount is all you need for filming with compact/action cameras.

Ball swivel OK... Clamp NG

The spring in this clamp is WAY too stiff. I think it will lead to clamp failure. Also, I found that if it's clamped to anything thin, like in my case, the edge of a car door or rear tailgate, it doesn't hold steady at all. If the spring wasn't so d****d stiff I could sandwich something in there & maybe steady the thing. I can't squeeze it open far enough to clamp on anything thicker, so most other things I might want to clamp it to are eliminated.
As is, it's useless for what I bought it for.
