I recently purchased four of these to replace four older Adirondack chairs that were getting tired.They arrived well packaged in a flat pack box, and were easily assembled with the included instructions and hardware.There were a few subtle defects in the wood of some of the chairs I received, and some hardware was missing, but customer service through Plant Theater was exceptional!! All parts and hardware I requested were shipped in a very timely fashion- making everything perfect. I couldn't have been more satisfied with the results. I am very happy with these chairs as they are very well made, have a great fit and finish, and the wood color and grain is attractive. All wood and wood parts are sanded smoothly, and after proper tightening, the well designed hardware secures everything to a solid unit. I was a little hesitant to purchase these online without being able to sit in or see in person, but after assembly, I am pleased with my purchase. They are a true Adirondack chair with little variation from my existing ones. Very comfortable to sit and relax in, and easily foldable for storage purposes in the winter season. Overall it was a great experience purchasing these, and they seem like they will be durable and last a long time.

These chairs are wonderful and comfortable. Really great quality as well. I purchased two and then love them so much I ordered two more. The Adirondack chair design was invented to lean back and take in the vista of the Adirondack mountains... and it's wonderful if that's what you are doing. The Plant Theatre chairs on the contrary, allow you to sit up a bit straighter making this a wonderful backyard conversation chair. Wide and comfortable with the fantastic feature of the curved seat front. This helps with folks who are shorter stature, but want to enjoy this lovely large seat.
I will say, there is one assembly step that is a bit of a challenge if you are doing it on your own. So you might want a partner for the first few steps. after that... easy as pie. The parts fit very well, there is no 'fighting the design' at all. They fold beautifully and come with a lovely wooden pin to hold lock the chair when it's open. I misplaced some hardware and contacted customer service via email. I heard from them in a couple of days and my dilemma was solved and left me feeling well taken care of. I will buy from Plant Theatre again without question and I do highly recommend these chairs!!!!

These chairs were a little hard to assemble, but once assembled, they're beautiful, high-quality, durable, and comfortable!

It's nice chair but don't let anyone fool you just because it was half pre assembled does not mean putting it together was easy..... I am bloody frustrated with it... it's smaller in width then I was expecting but it's a nice chair.
Save off 8 hours to figure out how to put it together... seems simply but it's not

Great chairs, Well made and sturdy with a nice finish. I bought two, the first one took me 45 mins to assemble and the second took 30 mins. The directions aren't the easiest to understand but a little common sense will get you thru it. Will buy again. Also very comfortable, I was pleased with the size, I'm 6'3" and 235LBS and these chars have plenty of room.
