Easy install and smooth operation

This power jack was easy to install, despite the fact that there were no installation instructions included (-1 Star) with the product. There was a poorly photocopied sheet of "Operating Instructions" included in the box that was nearly impossible to read. I'd recommend searching for tongue jack installation information online to see how it's done. It's not very difficult to do.
After installation the jack worked like a charm. It's not very fast, it moves the trailer up and down smoothly. It's best not to be in a hurry when out with the RV.

INSTALLED ON A Sandstorm 21SLC tow hauler. I added a crimp on battery connector and ran that to my 12v batteries. Powers up and down nicely. Its slow, but smooth, so i use blocks of 2x10 stacked, and screwed together to set the footpad on, so i dont have to wait for the ENTIRE leg to drop. lifts my 1000lb tongue weight trailer. the supplied 3/8 bolts are not grade 8 hardware like the originals, but they got stripped when i removed them with my impact gun. So i was not able to reuse the Grade 8 stuff. I will eventually replace the stock ones with actual grade 8 bolts. It has an inline fuse attached, and built in light works. Overall great looking and well constructed unit.

Works good. Lifts the trailer tounge fine. The trailer basically unloaded is at about 800 lbs tounge weight. Haven't used it with a full load yet. It does run a little slow but the gearing seems to help keep the load from over heating the motor. Very simple install, just be sure the trailer tounge is well grounded to the battery negative as the unit makes the negative connection through the jack mounting. The fuse holder is in the power line about three feet from the jack. The led lights are a little weak but provide enough illumination to hitch up in the dark.

Awesome trailer jack! The mounting holes were different than the manual crank one I had previously, so had to drill 2 new holes (the 2 rear ones as the front one I could work with) and tap threads into the holes. I also ran nuts underneath to ensure it was strong. I saw some complain about it being slow, but it doesn't seem slow compared to when I had to manually crank the damn thing! LOL!
I upgraded to this brand and am very happy with the product
