I bought it in June 2017, the following month (July 2017) it broke. The piece at the top that hooks on your blinds is plastic. It doesn't not wear well over time. Going to look for another option on Amazon.

A great quality blind wand. Hook is made into the plastic (not a separately glued on piece)

The one I received does not look like what is shown. Mine has a closed hook and I also had to buy an S-Hook from the hardware store for it to work. The price was outrageous, so it's disappointing I had to spend even more money for such a simple item. I wish I had read the others comments. The seller should mention that these are all different and may not look like the photo.
