Holding up great after 2 years

We have 3 of these installed on our back porch, which is south-facing. That means it gets a good bit of sun during the summer, and blasted with even more direct sun in the winter (when the sun is lower). They have been up for 2 years so far and no issues.
They are super easy to hang - there are 2 little eyelets on each one. So pound in a few nails or hooks or whatever, and off you go enjoying some shade.
We ended up cutting the cords a little shorter as we didn't need the full length.

Pros: The cost of the Radiance 3370730 Cocoa Woven Reed Light Filtering Roll Up Window Blind, 48-Inch Wide by 72-Inch Long ($28.62 w/tax) was great! The blind was easy to install. If used w/privacy window film, it may sufficiently darken an indoor room at night.
Cons: The product was poorly packed - At both sides of the blind, some wooden pieces were broken off / cracked (e.g., ~ 1 inch). Overall the quality of this product is poor. The shade received was dated with a stamp that said "2013 made in China." The wood was shedding so much a post-installation vacuum was necessary (foot splinters). This product would be a hassle to return b/c of the size & box provided (arrived torn). The actual color of the blind is lighter than the photo depicted online (maybe zoom in?). Outdoors this blind would eventually shred to pieces.
In sum, if you are looking for an inexpensive/temporary fix, or you change window treatments often, this product might suit your needs. At a glance, (depending on where the blind is situated), it does not appear entirely "cheap." Good for hanging in man-caves, dorm rooms, residential apartments, or other non-pompous settings.

Unreliable string pulls for this blind

I read the reviews about the strings breaking but ordered anyway. My mistake. The first blind I ordered was fine and served the purpose for filtered shade. The second blind I ordered arrived with a large flaw in the string and Amazon sent a replacement. I sent the flawed blind back. The replacement blind broke on the second use and must be rolled by hand and secured with an extra tie. I decided not to ask for another replacement but will consider the reviews more carefully before I purchase in the future. The blind is not expensive but you get what you pay for in this case.

Good price and serves it's purpose as an outdoor shade on the patio for a sunny spot. We roll it down and certain times of the day for about an hour to block the sun at that time of the day. Not sure I would buy again...slightly flimsy.

I love these. The only gripe I have is the hooks to hang them are not consistently spaced from one shade to another, so if you have more than one, mark them on which window you have them on, otherwise you'll be playing a game of musical shades as you try to match up each shade with the window you mounted it on.
