comfortable. Wore in the rain 1st time today cycling
Propp✓ Verified Purchase•September 1, 2017
Lightweight, comfortable.
Wore in the rain 1st time today cycling. Held up pretty well during light stuff, okay during moderate stuff...kind of soaking thru on the lower arms only at first, then upper arms after prolonged moderate pour. Had that been all I would've stayed about 75% dry wearing this jacket about 90 minutes in the rain.
The last bit it came down hard, and within 5 minutes it had soaked all the way thru...
So yeah, water resistant and good for keeping you mostly dry during rides in light rain for sure, moderate rain for awhile...but not the heavier stuff.
The again, it makes no such promise and had I had a more waterproof jacket with me on my ride, I would've switched.

XL I'm 6' and 180lbs. I read a lot of these reviews and found mixed opinions so I took a chance on this product, well I'm a slender guy but HWP and I always have to buy XL shirts so if I was any thicker I would definitely get the XXL. But for having long arms the XL sleeve is just long enough so the XL just fits. It is very light weight material and not a thermal by all means but it does help with the wind and not the cold. The side zippers are very delicate and the front zipper is okay. But for under $20 did not expect high quality, but it's okay for what I wanted.
If you want something more high quality don't buy this, but if you want a cheap high visible wind breaker this is it.
I want to emphasize that if you are any bigger get the XXL. Final thought I'm content with this purchase for what it is... Hope this helps!

Just an awesome purchase that pleased a very selective brother

Someone wrote a review that the jackets ran a bit small, so I ordered the Large since my brother took a medium, it fit perfectly. Always read the reviews they will save you time. they quality of the jacket was awesome, the color was rich and the texture was soft and comfortable, it has pockets and a place for your phone and keys. An awesome price for this. My very picky brother loved it and it made my Christmas a happy one.
Not Water-Resistant

The jacket was OK... packs small, lightweight, breathable, highly visible, but calling it "water-resistant" is a large stretch. It keeps water off of you for maybe a minute, then it soaks through the fabric and you might as well not have bothered putting it on. The jacket is from Asia (China, I think) so the zipper is backwards of what guys in the US are used to. There's nothing wrong with that, its just something that caught me off-guard when I tried to put it on the first time... and the 50th time.
I wouldn't bother buying this. Spend a little extra money and get something that will actually keep the water off of you. I just replaced this with a $40 jacket from Columbia. I haven't tried that one out yet, but hopefully it works better than this.

Nice but order 2 sizes larger.

I ordered this to have a thin outer layer to block rain and wind for those rare, ride-able midwest winter days.
I normally wear a size L, and they're slightly loose, but I ordered an XL to be sure it was big enough to fit over several layers for winter riding. It fits me like a tight Large rather than XL.
This is a wind/rain jacket, not insulated, and as such is pretty thin. Construction seems solid but will have to wait for warmer weather now to truly test so I don't have to layer anything but a thin baselayer.
Has 2 side pockets that are zippered and pretty big and a single zippered back pocket (Hidden under reflective strip) that is also pretty good sized.
Only complaint is the usual one where I should have ordered 2 sizes larger than I normally wear.
Update:
Contacted the seller regarding the size. They responded almost immediately and promised to ship a larger size promptly. They did not argue nor quibble over what could have been arguably my fault for not ordering 2 sizes larger. I asked about how I should return the smaller jacket and they said this would not be necessary and I should keep it as a gift.
Replacement arrived today in about the same time as the original order and fits perfectly.
Excellent customer service like this means I will order from them again.
Now hopefully I can get some more riding time in and lose a few pounds to fit into the smaller one....
