First of all, I bought "daylight" color hue. Yes this frequency of light is bright white, and the product is just that. Installation takes about 1-2 minutes to install, inclusive of unscrewing an existing light bulb. Once original bulb has been removed, the new screw electrical connector needs to be screwed into the socket; next, wire snap conector clips right onto matching connector on light, which finally slides right up into light can, held in place by 3 obliquely pieces of thin metal attached to light. Done. Lights are fully dimmable, with no type of humm or light flickering detected. Trust me, took longer to type this review than install the light and return ladder to garage.

This light will fit any 4 inch recessed light. It gives more light than expected as it is rated at 85 watt equivalent. It will run much cooler than a regular bulb. This light is fully dimmable with a LED rated dimmer such as the Lutron Diva dimmer. Great light I recommend it to all of my clients who desire to save money on their electric bill and still have great lighting. Great for any room especially the kitchen and the bathrooms where higher levels of illumination are desired. I do always recommend a dimmer as this helps set the mood in a room and offers flexibility for the user.

I used these lights on a renovation project. They provide a very nice and warm light. I used 6 of these lights on a Lutron CFL/LED dimmer (150w rating) with no issues such as buzzing or flickering. The light fits into any 4 inch new or old work recessed light and does not require the purchase of a step baffle. When I priced out the project these lights ended up being less expensive than the cost of a step baffle and dimmable LED bulb. The fixtures come with the low voltage connection (I think its a T27 connection). If you're looking to fit these in existing recessed light cans they also come with a standard bulb socket adapter.

These are the best, most versatile LED replacement fixtures on the market. I used 24 6" size lights in my previous home to replace all the spring inserts in the Hi Hats. They worked great, no problems with dimmers and got me a better price when I sold. In my new home, I used the 4" size to rebuild fluorescent light boxes in the kitchen to LED. I used 13 of them to provide down light as well as up light to the high ceilings. All of the above work was done by me. I'm handy but but not a licensed electrician. the price point is unbelievable. I have been using these lights for over 2 years with only 1 failure. I just hope they don't raise the price too much as I still have a bathroom to remodel & intend to use them

This product exceeded our expectations. It was referred to me by a coworker and we were told that it they made an unbelievable difference, but I didn't expect it to make as big of a difference as it did. It made our house look completely different. We never realized just how dark it was until we put these in. I will suggest that you get the soft yellow color as it is the more natural light. I refer to the bright white as hospital white because it is VERY bright. We have both in our home because my husband loved the bright white but I felt it was too harsh of a light. We compromised and put those in the hallway by the backdoor. We call that our runway lol. The yellow tinted light is in our kitchen and hallway upstairs. As a professional organizer I am often asked for simple ways to transform a room and I will definitely be referring these lights to Clients if they have the "other type" of canned lights.
