I would give it more stares if it didn't die after 10 hours of use and the day before a big trip. We tried everything to get it running. I use to rebuild engines for a hobby, so normally know how to get these things to at least limp along. This unit is dead and is still dead. Its failure forced me to by a reliable 3000IS Honda generator. The Honda is MUCH quieter. 48dB vs. 70dB. that is over 100 times quieter!!!!! Every 10 dB is 10 times quieter. I always thought it was way too load, so I'm happy it failed. I wasted $2300 plus install, and had to spend another $2000 for the Honda...still worth it. Stick with Honda or Yamaha. My Yamaha 3000 Watt lasted me 10 years. I haited to see it go with my old camper.
Cummins Onan generator is a great buy.

this generator is top notch equipment and will do the job for running roof top air on your rv. pretty quiet and sips fuel. great customer service. i also bought the exhaust system from the same company. nice people.

I am sure this is a very good RV generator. It runs good has plenty of output for a small rv.
BUT: Onan advertises it as a quite generator, however, it is very loud. I have researched it on the internet after I bought it and found many who have it and are unhappy with the loud noise.
