Great hat, performs as advertised.

I have several of them and use them for mowing the lawn, fishing and various other outdoor activities. They have all seen considerable wear and have all been washed without deformation or discoloration. Jumping in the pool with them has not been a problem. Air drying them seems to allow them to retain shape without issue.

The fit is excellent and the chinstrap allows me to secure the hat well even while riding my zero turn lawnmower. I have had no issues with overheating while wearing these hats and they are far too lightweight to cause any sort of neck/head fatigue.

I will definitely buy more of these hats if I need to. It may be a while however since my current supply have weathered well over the past two years. Highly recommended!

This hat is very nice. It's acceptable in public, because it's a cross between safari and Indy Jones kind of thing. very light weight and cool, does the job completely You will probably get less stares from folks then wearing a typical desert rat hat. The only down side it that it doesn't like wind at all, and if it's windy, it will try to go south, but just don't wear it on windy days! Anything goes south on a windy day including bill hats, umbrellas and the like, so don't worry about it. It's a great hat! After looking at dozens of hats, this one was the best choice for me!

My new outdoors hat for any activity. It's comfortable, lightweight, breathable, and keeps my face and neck covered. The chin strap is useful since it doesn't take much for it to blow off your head.

I've worn the hat twice since purchasing it. Both times in full sun and windy conditions. The hat seems well constructed and it is very lightweight. The wide brim is great for blocking sun from all sides. I had to secure the chinstrap strings extremely tight during brisk winds to keep it from lifting off my head. That tight was extremely uncomfortable. Also, in full sun, there were moments when the top of the hat felt very hot. It wasn't all the time, but when I did notice it felt uncomfortably hot.

As I age, the sun seems to have a harsher effect on my face, especially my nose and forehead. Out in full sun for almost 4 hours one day with this hat and zero sunburn. Second day almost two hours and same result. This hat definitely will not win any fashion awards, but I did not purchase if for that purpose. As long as it does not overheat (the top part of the hat) in the upcoming summer weather, I look forward to the great sun protection this hat offers.

This is my second one of these hats. I wore my first one nearly every day for over two years and it's still in good condition. It provides great coverage, breathes well and wears well.
