It worked but it is a little tight could be because I replaced the bumper also. So it could be the bumper itself. If needed this will work for your truck

It took me all of 3 mins to install this piece. I read all the negative reviews and still purchased because I'm very mechanically inclined. I recently had my truck bed off and installed a new bumper. Having the bed off made this all the more easier. But if I had to do like most people, it probably would have taken about 10 mins to install(but we'll never know for sure). Since truck bed was not on, I had a vantage of access to put pressure on the clip to make it snap together that most do not. It honestly did take quite a bit if forced to make this go together. I would not want to try it with the truck bed on.
Don't even think about it - just get the OEM part

Really bad fit. Hard to believe this is still being sold despite the reviews. I was dumb and ignored them (as with others below) thinking my skill and persistence were better than the average person's. I was wrong. The outer ring is just not made to the correct spec (reference: I have a 2006 Silverado 1500), and does not conform to the bumper opening. Just go to the dealer and get the OEM part, or order it elsewhere.
It really only deserves 2.5 stars, it's just OK.

NOT OEM. It took a lot of "persuasion" to get it to snap together. In the end it worked but definitely took more time than it should have.

This product is the best way to spend hours cursing at your vehicle. Your neighbors will watch in horror as vulgarities flow like a wide open fire hydrant, your loved ones will wonder why your hands look like you've been in a knife fight, and you yourself will start to question your mechanical aptitude and sanity. If this sounds like a good time then order away. The only way I was able to get this product to work was by modification and a hammer. I cut the inner clip and overlapped it on itself inside the outer clip.
