I started chewing this gum after each meal to help with my reflux. The ginger plus regular saliva generated by chewing gum has definitely helped. I normally have 1 large piece and one bubblegum flavored Extra. It's a good combo.
Constructive criticism: I wish there was a better dispensing system. If your hands aren't clean you need to pour it in your mouth and Ice lost a few pieces. At this price losing pieces stinks.
It would also be nice if the piece size was more consistent.

OK gum if you want to get away from some terrible artificial sweeteners. Doesn't last the longest but does what it can!

Simply Gmn is a great alternative to regular gum in that you have different types of flavors that you wouldn't probably find at the supermarket. Another fantastic thing about simply gum is the fact that you don't get all the inflammation associated with artificial sugars. For me I chose to get the ginger flavor because I like the flavor of ginger and also it's nice to chew on after eating a meal for digestion purposes (Yes I noticed a difference). The only unfortunate aspect to simply gum is two things: The box it's in and the longevity and freshness of the gum.

Unfortunately with the box it doesn't seem to be easy to understand how to keep it closed. I've tried different methods to keep it closed using the tab that is on it however that has proved to be fruitless. This means that you have to be careful when keeping it in your pocket because multiple times I've dropped a lot of the gum in my pocket or on the ground. The only resolution I've gotten for this is to put the box a certain way in my pocket so as to carefully take it out and not let it fall out.

With regards to the freshness and longevity unfortunately this gum will not last for more than 20 to 30 minutes until it starts to break apart in your mouth. At first I thought the particles or the pieces that I was chewing on that were separated from the actual gum piece were food particles that I had eaten after eating my dinner or lunch. But on closer examination I found out that it was actually the gum pieces so the pieces of the gum were slowly degenerating and breaking apart while chewing after about 30 minutes. When you're chewing this gum you have to keep in mind that you only have a certain amount of time to chew it before the piece starts to break apart in your mouth and at that point you're going to have to spit it out. Not to say that this is a huge negative that's why I gave the gum a four star because I've ordered it at least three times. The reason I have ordered it at least three times is because of the fact that it works, I've chewed it after eating dinner and I found fantastic results for my digestion because of the ginger and I just like the flavor as well as the fact that I'm not putting a bunch of chemicals and artificial sugars in my body. I can see a huge difference in inflammation when I chew this one versus if I chew a supermarket brand gum. Would I recommend this gum to anyone with digestion issues or who want to avoid inflammation from regular gum? Yes I would. Just keep in mind that there are cons, but there's no such thing as a fantastic piece of gum or a fantastic brand of gum. So you take the positives with the negatives.

The flavor of the gum is really good. The longevity is good considering the all natural product. I probably will not be buying this gum again because the texture isn't exactly to my taste, and I don't think the artificial products in other gum are a real problem, but I did enjoy this product and do recommend it to people looking to try alternative gums.

Comes in little very soft "nuggets" similar to a large "pellet" of rabbit food (given just as an example) within each smaller box; nothing to have to unwrap inside each individual tiny box within the larger box - very convenient!!! The tiny box fits in your pocket with other things easily. Tastes WAY, WAY better than other brands that have an immediate burning feeling/taste when you pop them in your mouth. This gum DOES NOT do that. Much better flavor & more mild feeling/taste. This gum was very mild tasting compared to the other awful ginger gums I've tried; all of which are available on Amazon in this same "ginger gum" category. They were way too strong/awful/unusable/had to throw them away. For this gum, each little gum box also comes with tiny papers on one side of the box to use to wrap/dispose of your gum after you're finished with it. This ginger gum holds its flavor well & stays together while chewing. It's slightly sticky when you take it out when done. Another reviewer below complained of "sugar" being in it. It says natural cane sugar on the box & thank goodness it has this as otherwise it would taste too strong or too organic like dirt or grass etcetera. My goodness"¦what in the world do they want or expect? You can't please everyone. This gum is great! Fighting incurable cancer for over eight years straight & this & also peppermint gum help with the more mild nausea on days where you just can't take anymore prescription nausea pills.
