You are either from the Buffalo area where there is hardly a kitchen that doesn't have a jar of Weber's horseradish mustard in it, or you were looking for something else and landed on this page accidentally. Weber's is only sold in Buffalo and by a handful of online Buffalo specialty stores and is sought after by ex-Buffalonians all over the world. It is made in a tiny warehouse building on Buffalo's south side where it has been made by the same family unchanged except for the jar design since 1922.

Weber's mustard is an acquired taste. If you grew up with it every other mustard tastes weird. If you are new to it, as I have exposed it to some extended family and friends, your lips will probably pucker and you may wonder how anyone could stand the stuff. Or, you may become a convert.

If you don't like horseradish, don't worry, that's not the predominant taste. The taste is actually hard to describe and Buffalonians will agree that it's not how it tastes by itself but what it does to certain favorite foods that makes it so special.

Buying Weber's can be tricky. My choice has been to buy it by the case directly from the factory but it's hard to get through a case and have the last few jars still taste fresh. You can get it per jar from some specialty online places but unless you are ordering enough of it or other stuff the freight charge is proportionately too high.

This worked out to be my best option. A 32oz jar is the size of a large mayo jar and to me is the perfect size to stay fresh until it's gone. With prime same day it works out to be equivalent to three 12oz retail jars at 4.50 each, close to what you would pay in Buffalo. And the date code for the jar I ordered in January 2018 is good through May of 2019.

I know you can buy cheap generic yellow mustard any day for a lot less but if you weren't raised on Weber's you can't possibly understand why we natives don't fret about how much it costs.

I lived in Buffalo NY for years and since I moved away years ago I could not find this mustard. This is the best tasting mustard has a tang that ads a lot of flavor to your sandwich or what ever you add it to. Thanks Amazon for carrying this.

Took off two stars for the price. Although it is very good it's not amazing. I thought it had very little kick. It left me desiring a lot more spice. It's just overrated.

YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm originally from Tonawanda & grew up on this stuff! Now where I live if they'd only put in a Ted's, bring back Malecki's, serve with curly fries drenched in malt vinegar, and a large loganberry I'd be a happy! Could go for an Anderson's while your at it. Oh YUM! Beef on weck, frosted hearts, REAL cannoli, Broadway Market smoked and fresh sausage, Italian sausage/green peppers/onions subs like at the Erie County fair - all that ethnic greatness! Needless to say, you cannot find stuff like this so we make so much of this ourselves, and of course......WINGS!
