I recently ordered this lens after reading other reviews here on Amazon. The product arrived on time and in the expected condition. I am an amateur photographer, but the lens is easy to use and seems to expand the possibilities of what I will able to do with my Nikon D60 with wider angle shots and better close-up shots.
The wide angle lens is light but sturdy, attaches easily and works fine with the autofocus on the D60 camera.
The detachable macro lens (for super close shots) is a cool feature. It doesn't seem to work with autofocus on the D60, so I've got to get out my owner's manual and see how to do manual focus on my camera. I don't view that as a problem so much as a fun thing to be able to figure out when I have the time.
I saw a few other reviews mentioning the threads potentially stripping over time, but the threads on the lens I received seem pretty heavy duty and are metallic, so I would assume they have resolved that issue.
I was pleasantly surprised by the little note from the owner of the company, which was a nice humanizing touch. They even threw in a lens cleaning cloth and a case for the lens.
For the price, I don't think this can be beat. You could spend a lot more money on something fancier with more features, but this will do the job it's intended to do.

I am using this lens for gravestones from my church graveyard. The church is over 100 years old and a lot of the graves are slave plots. We are working to get them all named and marked.
good product but not what i want or need

Arrived in timely manner, as described. Seems to be a well designed product. The included pouch for storage is nice and the microfiber lense cloth is also nice. The images are good when using the lense. I purchased the lense for rhe macro aspect to take pictures of coral for resale online. To be honest I k ow it's jot a true macro lense but I was expecting to be able to take a little closer shots of corals to get better detail. I feel like using the lense attached to my 35 mm lense just didn't really accomplish much in way of getting closer shots. It is nice in thay I can submerge the piece in water to get top down shots without having to get the 35 mm lense wet and effectively it eliminates glare from lights in doing so. For the money spent it's a decent product but honestly just jot good enough for what I want to do. I'll hang onto it though because you can never have too many toys for the olé Nikon.
Compliments on complements

An extreme wide-angle lens, and impressive macro - feature all in one affordable, sturdy piece of kit.
The 18- 55mm wide-angle lens, a 55-200mm zoom, a 70- 300mm zoom (nice, but not absolutely necessary) and a prime lens are almost all you need to be a well-rounded amateur photographer.
Add to that this unique lens, and you have it all covered.
Spend the very low cost of this machine and enjoy the places it takes you.
