Dry little tree

Still has green leaves and alive, but arrived bone dry no gravel or moss over soil. Tree was so try it could be lifted out of its pot! No fertilizer in a 3 3/4 by 5 3/4 ceramic pot. Will see how it does. Packaging kept plant secure but can't figure out why it was so dry. When compared to the bonsai I recently received from Brussels there is no comparison. I would buy from Brussels again. The picture looks purple because I have it under a grow light.
Do your research, good stuff though.

I ordered two of them, they were missing almost all leaves when they arrived, but I guess that's what happens thru the whole process of shipping. I was able to revive it. It does come with instructions but I suggest doing research on it as well as I read some people's plants dying due to miss understanding how to treat it. Now they look pretty good.

My Bonsai came very well packaged. So tightly wrapped in bubble wrap that it took about 10 minutes to unwrap haha.
My bonsai has about 5 main branches with lots of green leaves and a couple new branches growing at the tips.
Looks great on my work table and I can't wait to see it grow! :)

Not a pretty specimen, and is part of a much bigger plant cut down to make the ordered size. Specimen seemed a bit unhealthy and lacked a full compliment of foliage. Despite the packaging being very solid, the specimen arrived with dead leaves and a few branches without leaves.
Owning a bonsai is a project.... so I will make due, but I wouldn't order from this supplier again. It will take a lot of work just to get this up to an acceptable level. - Absolutely didn't live up to cost/value.
