5 minutes of opening it all up and thinking, 1 aha moment & 30 minutes to install. I was able to secure to my Reese rack with the (provided) ARB awning nuts & bolts along with the (sold separately) ARB brackets without having to drill. No wiggles, no jiggles & no extra noise that I've noticed. Very securely fitted.
I will update my review once I've used it for a few months, but upon installation, deployment & tear down, everything went very smoothly.
Clear instructions + actual durable materials= great off-road addition.

Haven't mounted the awning yet. But the design and construction look great. Durability looks to be great...
Except when ups delivers and throws packages around like they are lead weights.. they smacked the hardware mounting channel. Hardware won't slide though. Luckily I don't think the deflection will affect my mounting, but just sucks. Bought a new item, not scratch and dent. Not going to return, will try and bend it out myself.

Another quality ARB product. Just make sure you have the mounting all squared away because it really need to me mounted on the side and not towards the top of a camping trailer (if that is where you are mounting it). I ordered Keder rope from Amazon, bolted that to the back of the awning in 4 places with 1"x3" strips of aluminum, then mounted it on an existing Keder rail. It's not going anywhere

Put one of these beauties on the side of our Wrangler for a trip out in Death Valley, Makes it easy to set up a quick shade shelter whenever you need a break from the sun, My pretty wife ( who was questioning a $300.00 Easy Up) was ripping this thing open every time we were stopped for more than a few minutes. I'm too cheap to buy another one for my truck, so I set up a couple of angle brackets so I can swap it between vehicles. Absolutely love this thing, I use it in the driveway, on roadtrips, off road...Hell, I even set it up in the parking lot at work just to show off. Very well made, went on easily, and takes just a few minutes to put up and take down.

Great awning, but a bit expensive (it's ARB so you kind of expect it). We use this at the beach all summer. Hasn't faded or dried out. Haven't got to use it in the rain but I have no doubts it will be water proof/repellent.
