I moved, and my new kitchen is smaller. This spice rack replaces a tiered spice rack and takes up half the space for the same number of spices. Nearly all my spices are in the Penzey's half-cup jars. They fit in the four middle spots of each row just find, but the end holders are just a bit too snug, so I'm glad they included new glass jars, which are slightly smaller than the Penzey's jars. I've transferred all my spices over for a consistent look, and now it works great. The rack also comes with spice labels, but I've found the Hayley Cherie labels Hayley Cherie - 300+ Printed Spice Jar and Pantry Label Set - Chalkboard 1.5" Round Stickers - Includes Extra Write-on Labels fit absolutely perfectly. Now, my spice world is in perfect balance.

Definitely makes a difference in our small kitchen. We cook A LOT and reaching into the cabinet with our spices has always been like entering a worm hole in Star Trek (Can't find the allspice! Can't find the ground cloves! Oops, I used curry instead of cinnamon in the cake because I didn't have my reading glasses!) Well, these 56 year old eyes are thrilled to have the spices all organized and labeled properly. We should have done this years ago and I'm glad we went with this particular rack. Easy to use, easy to customize and space saving.

I love this spice rack! I read other reviews that complained that the holes in the lids were too small, but I haven't experienced this yet. So far I've used everything from finely ground salt to thicker spices like basil and parsley and haven't had any issues. Slightly inconvenient to have to unscrew the lids all the time when I used to be able to pop plastic lids off, but this definitely saved me some cabinet space and looks a lot nicer than my random assortment of plastic spice bottles. I am not able to screw things into my walls in the kitchen so it was hard to find a standalone rack, so given my limited options I am happy this worked out!

I was surprised that some reviewers had bottles with plastic tops, because my spice jar lids are definitely stainless. They also don't fall out of the holder--apparently, that was a problem the plastic-lidded jars had. Hopefully, DecoBros has updated this product so that from here on out, they all look like mine!

Despite the fact that there is nothing wrong with this product, I am returning it because it just seems..... BULKY. Counter space is a big issue for us, and the rotating spice rack I've since tried takes up less room and doesn't demand so much attention. What I loved about the DecoBros is that the jars are empty and ready to be custom-labelled... however, I'm planning to make my rotating spice rack custom by using chalk marker to label the lids.

Be aware that if you buy this item and want to return it, return shipping will cost you $10--almost half the price of the product! Due to this, I've debated back and forth about returning the DecoBros spice rack... but I just don't see myself being happy with it or being able to use it for anything else really. I thought about using it for office supplies, or for screws and nails... but IMO it's kind of impractical for such things.

If I were to do it again, I would buy from a brick and mortar store, so I could try the spice rack at home before committing (or losing a chunk of change).

The glass JARS make it easy to see how much and the FRESHNESS of each spice! I have so many spices in my cabinet! No more digging through so MANY jars. The jars held more than I thought they would! They have printed LABELS with the spice on them and PLENTY of extra ones for any other spices you may NEED. I had extra bottles and stickers so you do not have to worry about not having enough! Just think of all of the EXTRA cabinet space! I have had the ROOM to move my BAKING powder and the like over I had all of that extra SPACE! I had come to the point of frustration from TRYING out several "solutions" that had cost me so much MONEY or made me feel worse and more frustrated than before! What blew me away was how much you could get into one bottle! The fact that I was getting low on so many of them! I am TOTALLY blown away with these little GLASS jars, that emptied a small cabinet! Go ahead and PURCHASE it now because YOU will end up coming back to this page!
