Definitely has the rotten egg smell. I did expect the smell though. Seemed too wet for fungal topical in my opinion. Giving three stars. It is a sulpher cream. May try again someday

I have suffered from seborrheic dermatitis since for probably 5 years, with acne prior to that. There are very few products I can apply to my skin without upsetting it, especially moisturizers, but my skin gets very dry and itchy and painful spots pop up around my laugh lines and mouth without some sort of treatment. I use to mix a 10% sulfur ointment with some Cetaphil lotion to make a sulfur lotion as a home remedy, and most recently I tried Prosacea because I like that it's a gel, can be found in stores, and is sulfur-based. However, I find this product much gentler and more effective. I feel complete relief from the itching within a few minutes of applying it and my skin tone changes to a more natural calmer color. Redness and acne clear up really quickly.

My daily routing is to wash with the most gentle cleanser possible, which in my experience is the Cerave Hydrating Cleanser. Then I use a q-tip to scoop out some of the sulfur ointment which I then apply to my whole face. If I have a beard and it feels itchy at all, I'll apply extra to that area. I do this morning and night. I actually find it very moisturizing and I don't use any moisturizer, but if your skin feels raw after washing and before applying anything, you may need a good oil-free moisturizer.
