Installed this one in our vaulted ceiling living room. I cannot stop looking at it. So beautiful! Husband installed it with minimum cursing.

A real nice looking fan, Won't use it as a fan 'til next summer.

We purchased this fan on my wife's Prime account. Visually, it is beautiful. It does move air well. I can't explain why some reviewers complained of the air flow. One possible explanation is that my fan was shipped with the air flow in WINTER MODE therefore someone standing under a ceiling fan in that condition will not feel the air flow until they flip the switch. I did not rate this fan with five stars because of the difficulties that I experienced with assembly. Compared to the Hunter fans that came with my house and the Hunter fan that I installed new, the screws on this Honeywell fan were a fight with every screw. Eventually I got the screws to bite, but there was great frustration at times during assembly. Now, you have a couple of options during assembly. At first I elected to eliminate the down-rod and just mount close to the ceiling. The screws just were not long enough. That was my first encounter with screwing problems. I gave up and decided to use the down-rod just so it would install. When everything was done, there were left over parts and I'll bet that there were longer screws needed for the no down-rod installation. The instructions were not crystal clear. It looks like someone with English as a second language wrote the instructions. Additionally, I purchased the Honeywell remote wall switch from Amazon. It was an exercise in patience to stuff that transmitter in the ceiling bracket and make everything fit. Additionally, the switch does not dim the light it's only on-off and the package bullet points a "night light" with no night light or instructions mentioning a night light. However, after everything is PATIENTLY put together, the fan looks and works beautifully.
I took a walk through the Home Depot ceiling fan display and every fan except one had the same-old same-old faux boring wood grain (or painted) fan blades that we have been looking at since the 80's. This fan has beautiful real interesting looking real wood palm leaf fan blades. It took me a little time to get used to the look but now I love it. I would advise consumers to buy this fan despite my assembly woes. I would advise Honeywell to revise their instructions and to have a look at improving easier assembly.

Great fan! Easy installation and very sturdy product. Mine didn't even need to use the balance kit. Very Pleased with the look and low level of sound.
