I had a mushroom gravy recipe that called for dried Porcini mushrooms. These made for a wonderfully flavored gravy. I bagged them up in potions and put them in freezer. Got some out later and they were just like I put them in.

The flavor these impart to dishes requiring porcinis is great! Also, when comparing prices to the small half ounce packages I see in the stores around me, this is just a steal. Now I just have to make sure to use it all, although I don't think that will be a problem.
