I have gluten sensitivities and have never had an arthritic flare up from this brand or stomach discomfiture. For full disclosure, I can also tolerate organic wheat to some degree. This makes a great cornbread, but I heartily dislike the recipe on the back for it. It sounds more like they were making hush puppies! My idea of cornbread is one that tastes like Jiffy. So, immediately, I started "fixing" this recipe. 3 eggs, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/3 cup of oil and 1 cup of milk, plus 1/8 t cream of tartar(for extra leavening). After hitting upon this fix, it is my go-to anytime I want cornbread! Enjoy!
