Wrap works beautifully; the cutting edge not at all!

Excellent for covering things. The wrap is so sturdy that you can place bowls that have been covered on top of one another without the top bowls falling through. The cutting edge simply does not work. The simplest way to deal with it is to put the dispensing box on a flat surface, pull out the amount of wrap needed and then cut it off with scissors.

This stuff is freakin awesome. I don't know who invented it but I would like to give them a big fat kiss. I use it on leftovers, I use it on cans of soda that I drink the rest of the next day, I wrap my baked goods in it.. I use it on my husband when he has road rash from biking and can't get something wet in the shower. Thank you Glad!
Seals really good (when dry). Blade edge doesn't cut well.

Good product. The hype is more that the quality though.
It seals really well, only if the container edges are completely dry. If the food you are sealing is either producing steam or if the edge of the container gets moist with something, the seal stops working till you have dried it completely. By comparison, the other Glad Cling Wrap with cling to any surface or edge, especially if the surface is warm.
Now that I know about the above issue, I make sure that the edges are completely dry before using the wrap.
The other issue, which is more of a frustration, is the cutting edge. The blade (or lack there of) is really bad. Like some products, it should be a serrated metal edge. This material is tough, and the edge is just not designed for it. The wrap almost every time rips at an angle towards the last 1/3rd of the tear. You have to very carefully cut it, if you want a good rectangle/squre piece.

I despise regular plastic wrap - it sticks to itself, bunches up, doesn't unroll properly, etc... The Press and Seal is hands down one of the best products around despite a price premium to the typical old plastic wrap. It tears easily with the serrated edge on the box, it doesn't stick to itself while you're moving it around and once you press down to seal onto something and it has a hulk-like grip. It seals so well that if you had liquid in a bowl and sealed, you could tip the bowl and it wouldn't leak.

Ahhh.....to not have to fight with my cling wrap anymore.....pure joy. YOU KNOW what I'm talking about: stretching just the right amount off the roll, oh-so carefully tearing it while trying not to move so it'll hold its shape and not cling to itself in mid-air; settling it onto the bowl or food and then TRYING to get it to cling to THAT, which it won't. But now (que fairy music), Press n Seal has changed all that; erased all the past trauma from my mind. It goes WHERE it's supposed to and either seals TO the food or bowl, OR seals to itself, to make a "baggie" for the item. It's so secure that you can put liquidy stuff in it, and there's no leaking!! Thank you, Glad...you've saved many from a clingy melt-down!
