This is a great concept and I bought one as soon as I saw it. However using it is a mixed bag. First time trying it went great and terrible. Hot dogs were great and cooked quickly. Then tried to roast some corn. I guess my mistake was not letting the stove cool down between entries. The cool temperature of the corn shattered the glass tube immediately. Bummed, I called customer support. They were very understanding and said that it would be covered under warranty. Great! Very excited until a few hours later...received an email telling me ( for the first time, this was never mentioned live on the phone with customer service) telling me that to receive my replacement part I needed to submitted a credit card to pay $20 in shipping otherwise there is no coverage. I get it, it's just very disappointing and unprofessional. I would definitely think twice if your ever going to have any children around this stove as it is very fragile.

I have had my GoSun for two weeks and we are having so much fun with it ! We have cooked bread, meat, veggies and hot dogs.Also, a mix of cubed meat, potatoes and veggies. It takes at least twice as long as they said to cook anything (and in GA it has been HOT). But every thing is tasty and easy. Next try - scrambled eggs and a long skinny casserole !!

So far soo awesome! Just made salmon in my go sun and it is amazingly good. I put a little olive oil and some lemon pepper. Cut into strips and at first I tried 20 min. And it didn't cook all the way, so I repositioned it where it should have been and finished cooking. I put heavy duty alum foil before I started and cleanup was a snap. At first I was hesitant to buy due to extreme cost but I'm happy now and glad I did. My kids are also learning about the power of the sun! Also plan on using this on my boat where we will be fishing and living on the boat for four days on lake mead. Hopefully we will be cooking a lot more fish! Perfect for boat where you don't want any more flammable items than you need.
Update, I use it all the time , even overcast. Just takes experience the more u use it the better you get at cooking with it. Still awesome!
