After a week of use, my heartburn was gone

I had knee surgery just about two years ago and was placed on antibiotics following the surgery. Since then, I've had really bad heartburn that has only gotten worse. I tried this product after watching a recent episode of NOVA that discussed what's living inside of us...specifically, bacteria in our gastrointestinal tract. I thought it wouldn't hurt to give probiotics a shot. After roughly a week of use, my heartburn is completely gone. I cannot say definitively that my experience is directly attributable to this product, but for $32, it's worth trying if you've taken antibiotics relatively recently and suffer from heartburn.

I've been taking these for about 3 weeks now and I've noticed a marked improvement in my digestion. I read more than a coupe of reviews and articles about probiotics before deciding on this product and I'm pleased with the purchase. I've also supplemented it by adding a tablespoon of potato starch to my protein shakes. I read that potato starch provides an excellent source of food for gut bacteria and is not easily digested by the body.
The reason I did not give this product 5 stars is because I've had a dramatic increase flatulence. The new horse farts are a double edged sword. My wife has told me that they have become an issue in our marriage which is not good but they are great for clearing the living room so I can watch what I want on TV. Dropping bombs in public places and then watching peoples reaction can also be good fun. It is possible that the potato starch, gut bacteria combo is causing the increased methane production, so the product may actually deserve 5 stars...
