This horseradish has a good flavor and nice kick. It's definitely hotter than most of the other brands I've tried.

I use this product to make a mustard sauce for crabs, fish and many others.

Flavor is good, the nostrils cry as they should. I'd mix this with something to tone down the blast of the horseradish, cause it punches good n hard.

Only reason why this horseradish sauce loses 1* has nothing to do with the product, but has EVERYTHING to do with the bottle! I haven't tasted horseradish for several years, and forgot about how strong it can be. So, I made the mistake of putting WAY too much on my breadstick as an appetizer, & was immediately overwhelmed with the sharp taste! It filled my entire mouth very quickly, & almost made my eyes water as a result. That's fine, but what I don't understand is why the opening to squeeze out the sauce is this wide slit. If they'd just made it a small round opening, like the spout that comes with every other bottle of sauce, then I'd have been fine. If you eat horseradish regularly, & know what to expect, then you'll be fine. Otherwise, if you're a novice like I am - BEWARE!!!
