Just what I needed. The thinner one I had purchased in the past would let the nub on the water meter slip out... very frustrating. This one is narrower and fits perfectly!
Perfect for shallow waterboxes with 1/2" valve turning lugs. Key opening is 5/8" not 3/8" as listed.

Exactly right for our waterbox. The key (fork) width of 5/8" [not 3/8" as listed here!] is just right for our 1/2" valve top turning lug. The cushioned 12" T-handle is sized well and all the construction is solid. No way will this wrench fail in its stated use. Overall length 15".

I reported the erroneous info to Amazon; we'll see if it's ever corrected.

Did the job for me. I had to find a 300 foot run of PVC from about 1 foot to about 3 ft deep. I also bought some flags and that also helped so I could see the pattern and make it go a lot faster. I have a few 45 degree turns and i would have had to dig it out every few feet with out this tool.

This is a great tool! I needed this to find my septic tank on a home I just purchased. Tool worked very well, handle is comfortable and is sturdy and strong all around. Not sure it has any other uses except probing the ground, but well worth the 20 bucks shipped to my door!
