Works awesome, easy to clean! And the company has great CS!!

Wow! What a great way to get your kiddos to eat more veggies!! I bought this to make zoodles for myself, but my children love to eat the noodles raw with just a little salt. And with the 5 different blades, there is always a new fun noodle shape to try!!
I like how simple, yet effective this is. So much easier than the handheld one I had previously! Also, the parts rinse off easily without a lot of hidden areas for food to get trapped.
Lastly the customer service for this company is amazing!! Mine arrived missing a couple blades. Not only did they respond to my email immediately, but they were polite and responsive and corrected the error right away!! I was blown away by the wonderful CS!!!

Not Impressed

I'll be honest. The quality is crap. The base does adhere to my granite counter tops every well. The rest of it is "meh". The blades don't fit well into the base and none of them work well regardless of the type of fruit/vegetable being processed. The pointed "gripper" holds the produce but it's difficult to clean. The part that slides wiggles around too much. The handle you turn is really cheap. When the blades get all jammed up it feels like the part holding the produce is going to twist and snap.
The A blade, which (supposedly) makes the flat ribbons, made lots of small sliced apple pieces but very little of it came out in one of those nice ribbons. I spent most of my time picking apple out of the blade. The very small core circle on the blade means the actual core on even a small apple results in apple seeds being sliced apart because they hit the blade. I had to throw away a plate with two apples because chopped up seeds were in everything and apple seeds release cyanide. Not was I was hoping to have in my apple "ribbons".
The other blades create the "noodle" shapes. None of them work very well. Sometimes you get something noodlish, sometimes you get ribbons with grooves in it. The best results I was able to obtain were with small (less than 2 inches across), very firm zucchinis. Even they were inconsistent.
On the pro side, it does process the produce much faster than the small, hourglass shaped one I have (a Veggetti) where you twist it on the end of a piece of produce. On the con side, the result is a lot more inconsistent than the small one I have.
Overall, skip this. Either spend more on a good one or spend less on one of those handheld gizmos.
I'm keeping this because I'm willing to use it for zucchini noodles.
I wish it came with instructions. I wish I knew if all of it was dishwasher safe or just the blades.
Oh, the blades. What a pain in the butt to clean well. Trying to wedge the produce out of the grooves between the circle part and the blade part can be difficult. I ended up using a pointed metal cocktail stick to get the skin out of the space. The blades are identified with printed clear stickers - I'm pretty sure they will soon fall off.

I give this a three because it has a round hole that hollows out the vegetable and wastes a lot of product in my opinion. It does a very easy job of spiralizing and I usually just take the long round piece that comes out and eat it myself as to not waste it. You can see it in one of the pictures but it looks short and believe me it is whatever length the veggie is. this may be with all products like this since I have a handheld one and I cant get the whole pieces of veggie into it and there is a wedge left each time. Just not sure why the hole has to be there?
Great product!

This product works very well and is easy to use. I had a hand held veggie spiralizer which wasn't bad, but wasted a lot of the vegetable and was difficult to maneuver. This product makes perfect zucchini/yellow squash noodles, which is a nice alternative, or addition, to pasta. I haven't yet tried it with other vegetables, but if it works as well as is does with zucchini, I'll be very happy! Also, the customer service for this company is exceptional. I got several emails making sure that I not only received the product promptly and in perfect condition, but also but whether it lived up to my expectations and if not, to contact them directly and they'd make sure I was completely satisfied.
Love this Mo-Chine!!
MARC LOOMRE•June 22, 2016
My beautiful wife tried a competitive el-cheapo brand she bought at a discount store and wasn't very pleased with her purchase. She ordered the Spiralizer and we received it a couple of days ago...tried it last night making zucchini noodles....WOW...SHE LOVES IT!!! Now let me tell you, she doesn't praise many products, but she has flipped over this nifty mo-chine! And from a personal perspective, I love the food when it hits my dinner plate...NICE JOB SPIRAL IZER PEOPLE...and special thanks to Gina!
