UPDATE: Turns out after refreshing the batteries, the light is much brighter. Changing my review to reflect this. I still prefer a smaller profile and would recommend this more for mountain bikers, as the removable feature would probably suit more those who are riding off road.

Bought this for my new bike, it was easy to install, no problems there. The rear light is great but I have to say I'm disappointed in the front light. It's basically a small handheld flashlight that mounts on the bike. I understand this is actually designed to be removable, which would be great but the overall problem is the brightness. It's very dim for a flashlight or light of any kind. I would expect this light to actually throw enough light to see in front of you as it gets dark. This light just does not hold up. You can see from the images that the light just inches away from my hand is barely distinguishable from that distance. I have a small handheld flashlight and it's 10x brighter.

My other peeve is the light protrudes out a little more than I think I like, it's more suited for a mountain bike or cruiser, not very fashionable for a road bike. Seems durable enough, the mount does shift some but that more likely due to it needing to be tightened a little more. It's also battery powered, I've seen models that are rechargeable. I'm going to replace my handlebars and shifters, I'll see if this light looks better on the new drop bars, if not I may have to toss it.

This Bike Light is that the best I've ever used! I ride an average of 4,000 miles/year, day and night, in rain, snow, cold, and hot weather. Long distance riding, average 10 -12 mph, up to 100 miles+ in one day.

I purchased 2 of these Divine Light Bike Lights, about two years ago, and they have performed flawlessly! Uses standard batteries. With daily use, I change batteries every 3 months.

The Light Mount is very easy on/off so switching between bikes is easy. The Light moves in/out of the Mount with little effort, and doubles as a flashlight.

After two years use, the Mount and the Light are still like new. No cracks or deterioration. This is a solid product!

A big concern I had, as the switch from incandescent to LED lights progressed, was the ability to see things in the dark, especially potholes, critters, and debris on the road. Incandescent was perfect for these conditions, but this Light is so bright, that I an able to see anything I could see with the incandescent lights. The focus feature allows a personal preference field-of-view.

The Tail Light is a really nice addition. I took one light from each package, and mounted them on one bike, and angled them so that they could be seen from the rear, and the sides. A great enhancement to the big rear light I use, and the lights can be seen from a great distance.

Because I always used these rear lights in the flash mode, battery life was six months. It took a little while to figure out how to change the battery (CR2032) on the Tail Light the first time, but these lights are also easy on/off mounting, and can be used anywhere. On the bike, on the Rider, Trailer, wherever it works best.

I recently purchased two more of the Divine Light LED Bike Lights, and was pleasantly surprised. The price has come down from $35.99 to $9.99! I had to hold back on my impulse to buy more, because I was fully expecting to pay the higher price, but I will be buying many more of these.

My advice to the Manufacturer: Please don't compromise the quality of this product. It is the best bike light I've ever had! Improve it, Yes! Make it brighter, Yes! Make a Full Size Tail Light that's as good as this Headlight, Yes!

Too many manufacturers cut back on quality, or stop make a great product altogether, for reasons of their own. And, they lose Customers. One bike example is the Bontrager Race Lite Hard Case Triple Flat Protection Tires. I have two sets, with approximately 8,000 miles on each set. Never had a flat. Great Traction,and excellent rolling resistance. Still going, but they are showing wear.

Problem is, they stopped making them years ago. I look for them everywhere, but not finding any, on ebay, or anywhere else. And they offer no equivalent tire. I have not purchased a Bontrager product since then. I don't want to see that happen with Divine Light LED Lights.

This is a great product! If I could rate it higher than 5 Stars, I would. I highly recommend it to bike riders. Super Bright, the Flash Mode gets Drivers attention, and it does the job in the dark. Great for Birthday, and Christmas presents, too. Especially at this price!

I bought this light for riding in the early morning and nights in a city environment. So streetlights and traffic are part of the environment, I cant comment on its utility for empty dark roads. It came in a little cardboard box with the companies name on the top and some other information about the product. It still had a strong 'plastic-y' smell from the factory, but alas these things happen. The box contained the light, mount, and a small rear light. The mount uses thumb screws to secure the mount to the light and the light to the mount. It's easy and requires no tools, allowing you to remove the light when you lock up the bike. The mount has held sturdy so far after about a week of daily commuting. The main light itself is made of metal, its robust, but I wouldn't say 'military grade'. It has 3 modes; full brightness, half brightness, and a strobe function at full brightness. The half function is good when passing other bikers or pedestrians at night, and the strobe is useful for times where you would need increased visibility. It has a beam adjust function that allows you to tighten up the beam to the appropriate amount. I did find the beam hard to adjust however, and almost impossible to adjust while riding. The light at full brightness works great on city streets to provide extra lighting and increase your visibility.It uses 3 AAA batteries, which I prefer as i can just put extras in by seat bag. The included rear light is the flexible, rubbery type that wraps around the seat post. It has a fast blink, slow blink, and a steady function. Its easy put on and take off. I wrap it around the light and store it in my backpack, takes up minimal space. It will wrap around the frame easily as well, if your seat post is used by bags like mine. In all its a solid light and a decent deal for $35. This seems like a new company that is still working out their manufacturing processes. But their customer service and feedback has been top notch.

After a couple of months, the headlight has been unreliable. It would cycle between the different modes every time I hit a bump. I'll try to use it as a headlight during early morning rides and all of a sudden, it'll go into strobe mode after even a slight bump. It's Incredibly frustrating. Although I still agree that it's bright enough to be seen by oncoming traffic, it is NOT bright enough for riding when it's dark. You won't be able to see where you're going.

These lights work exactly as described.

They're very easy to install - the front "flashlight" is installed via screws unto the mount and also to the bike handle. It's not as fast as a clip on or those belts that lock but it's sturdy and secure.

It is a flashlight that you can use separately but the difference is that it also has the strobe feature as shown on the video. Aside from the strobe, it's supposed to have a low and high setting but I didn't notice much difference. Either way, it's bright enough to be seen by oncoming traffic.

I noticed from the reviews that the taillights weren't talked about much but they're just as good. It has 3 modes - steady, quick and slow flash. This one attached quickly with the plastic hook and it's also secure where it wouldn't fall off even on trail rides. Just watch out for sticky hands when you're parked at a rest stop or gas station on the way to your destination.

About the only drawback that I would say with these 2 is that they're not the rechargeable type. The front uses 3 AAA batteries and the back is CR2032. I've used it for a total of 4 hours now and the batteries are still good. Just as well, because Vont looks like a good product based on this, I ordered their "Pyro" model which is smaller but rechargeable. I'll just use both so that I have a back up if ever the batteries die out in the middle of my ride.

OK, throws a light out about 20 to 30 feet that is usable. Beyond that, that is, when pointed at further distances it really doesn't illuminate where you can see better than what ambient light provides, even when really dark outside. That was fine with me, I don't go too fast, maybe 10 mph when I'm out riding that works just fine.

Things you should know. Everything is plastic. Neither good or bad, that's just the way it is, does make it pretty light if that is a concern for you.

The mounting was a bit difficult. I put it on mountain bike handle bars and because there is no adjustment left to right (Yaw) you have to put it where the handlebars are perpendicular to the direction of travel and for me that meant right at the stem and there is where all the cables come together for gearing and brakes so it was a bit of a mess getting it on and that the cables are in the way of the on/off button. OK, I mounted it so that it hangs under the handlebar so that might be unique for me. I did that so that when I store the bike, upside down on the floor the bike will be perpendicular there and not sit on the light. If I had mounted the light on top of the bar then the on/off button would not be covered by the cables. I don't mind the slight inconvenience of having to move cables to the side to turn the light off or on.

The light has a zoom feature but it was sort of meaningless to me. Only one setting seemed to have any usefulness. That's good for getting it right the first time out but I don't think I will be adjusting it according to conditions or riding speed

On good thing is that I have several small flashlights that will bit the mounting system provided with this light so I get to use them if needed. That was a plus for me.
