Not recommended for large areas bigger than 1inch x 1inch . Probably worst product in market.

I was doing a few repairs in large areas, usually I like to work with sider crete product. But I run out of product and I had to finish, Pool patch delivered the product next day, sider crete 4 days later. So I bought pool patch.
I can say pool patch is a low quality product, not recommended for large areas . If you are repairing areas bigger than 1inchx1inch get other brand.
After plastering, sanding and polishing 1/3 of my pool you can see a big difference in terms of quality between both products. I wouldn't buy it again.

After 1 week with pool filled, repairs where I used pool patch brand are chipping.
VERY VERY pleased with how easy this was and how well it turned out.

So this was my first time doing this kind of repair. Read all the reviews. Watch the manufacturer's SINGLE video, and you will be fine. It does dry quickly, but not unusally fast. I just kept stirring and folding what I had mixed until I ran out. I also mixed about 1 1/2 pound at a time. I weighed the powder dry on a scale in an empty cottage cheese container, blended in the polymer with a measuring cup (quickly rinsed the cup) and with a 64 oz bottle of water, slowly mixed in the water till it was like peanut butter. I used a 2" metal trowel and had a large sponge in a clean bucket of water right by my feet. I troweled the mixture into the cracks I dug out at least 1/2" deep against the edges, then smoothed across the top. Sometimes I used my fingers to push in some of the plaster. When it was as I liked, I smoothed it out with a wrung out sponge. After about 30 minutes later, I went over it one more time with a rinsed and wrung out sponge again. Worked great.

This was a very easy project. If you have done some drywall repair or bathroom grout repair, you've done this (with the exception of having to gouge out the cracks or chips at least 1/2" deep. MAKE SURE YOU DO THAT.

Oh, and I put some painters tape around my pool returns and pushed in the plaster around the retruns, cutting out the plaster with the thin edge of the trowell.

I know all that isn't a review of the product, but if others knew all that, I don't know why it wouldn't get a highter rating.
Good but expensive.

Good product. Stark white And eas to use but does not go far. If you need alot of coverage, prepare to pay alot with this product. 10 gallons doesn't go as far as you would think.
Not Good!

As a plastering contractor i was expecting a product that would be designed to trowel into the existing plaster finish smoothly. It did not. The grit was prob 20 or 30 grit so theres no way it will blend into existing on patches. Also my jug was about half solidified like a rock. I threw it in trash lesson learned on another bad product ..two products that work good are wunderfixx and sani-tred

It worked OK , but the texture was a little rougher then I wanted . If I had to do it over ,I would use hydraulic cement and paint . Hydraulic cement is $15 for 20 lbs. , and it's a little smoother.
